Does anyone have any firsthand experience with this reel? I dont really need to change sizes (I have 400ft and 800ft reels already) was more interested in it for the largest size. Its considerably less than a LM 1200ft

FWIW one of my mates has got one and likes it very much. I saw one 'in the flesh' at a dive show not too long ago and it seemed really nice - I would have bought it if I didn't already have enough reels!

I've got one and it works very well. the 1/2" square in the side accepts a 1/2" socket adapter that you can put in your power drill. this makes re-spooling the line extremely convenient. it has a nice large handle that makes it easy to use with dry gloves (SF Bay area diver water temp. 55F). all my dive buddies who have used it, tech or cave diving, haven't had any complaints.
