This is a BARELY USED Divesoft Liberty backmount “heavy” unit. I bought it thinking I would use it more, but life took a different turn and I don’t see myself doing what I originally thought I would with it. Excellent condition and "dive ready"! Unit was built in 2023 and has only 11 dives. There are a TON of extras included. Pretty much every accessory you could want/add on, plus some extras that I added on myself. This package sells for over $14k if you purchase new. Here is a general rundown, but not everything:

Liberty Heavy CCR -
Xlarge scrubber ($225 upgrade)
3 liter steel cylinders 02/DIL (black)- $500
ODA (DSV mounted computer display)
2 handsets (one installed, one spare - +$775)
Two Shearwater Swift transmitters-$850
Automatic Diluent T piece
Offboard manifold and QC6 (female) + $175
Kevlar custom Loop hose covers - +$80
Oxygen Sensor Testing Kit—$370
Head Protector- $160
Loop Hose weights- $100
"love pack" - tons of extras... all pictured (head travel case, scrubber lid, head lid, spare parts kit, cable covers, etc (+$400)
MULTIPLE rebuild kits for the unit, MAVs, etc (+$150)

Literally so many extra things I can't list them all.

Unit is available in Gainesville, FL. Buyer pays shipping expense.

Sold as a full package - $11,000 USD. This unit cost over 14k from Divesoft and I’ve added more on since.

Hi,

This is a longshot, but I was already planning on purchasing a unit when I saw your post so I am curious about it.

I need to get trained on the unit so I am considering purchasing your unit, travelling to FL and get trained in the same trip.

Questions:
1- Were you trained on the unit in FL ? If so, is there an instructor near your place you could recommend ? I will contact him to try to make it work

2- I already have Shearwater transmitters... Would you consider reducing the price and sell them on your side ?

3- Could you confirm you chose the "Tall Welded Stand" and not the "Short Welded Stand"

4- Could you confirm you have both the "Long Cylinder Bracket" and the "Short ones". From your pictures, it appears to be the case

5- Any reason why you don't use the unit with both handset since you have them instead of listing it as a "spare" ? Perhaps because you have the ODA ?(Just curiosity)

6- The ODA is no longer available from Divesoft Website, are you aware if it's just temporarely or if it's discontinued for some reason ? If you don't know, I'll contact them and ask. I don't know what it is priced at and suspect it was probably expensive which is a downside for me since I didn't expect to purchase it in the first place. I don't think you would be willing to remove it from the deal to reduce pricing ? Probably hard to sell on its own...

7- With everything listed, I was surprised the "Transport Cases" is not listed... Did you purchase it ? If so, is it included ? If you don't have it, I'll need to figure a way to purchase it, have it shipped to you to bring everything back

8- Was it "serviced annually" by an authorized technician? For the warranty, it has to be based on manual... When was the last service ?

You can PM me if you prefer.

Like I said, this is a long shot... lots of "if" in this purchase possibility ;)

Best Regards

Hey,

1. Yes I’m friends with a couple great Liberty instructors and would be happy to help set up training and deliver the unit to them. They are also familiar with me and the unit and can vouch for everything. Divesoft also has their US headquarters here (Gainesville).

2. Yes, I would reduce the price $600 if you didn’t need the transmitters. It would be easy for me to sell them independently.

3. The stand is a tall stand, I’m 6’3.

4. I have both the long and short brackets. I’ve only used the short ones as I typically side mounted the bail out. The long brackets are included and new. You would use them in the heavy configuration. I also have several straps for attaching inflation tank or canister light.

5. I just thought two handsets was kinda obnoxious and the guys at Divesoft said I could just keep one as a backup which seemed to make the most sense. Between the one handset and the ODA, is didn’t really make sense to me, as I also have an independent shearwater computer on my other wrist anyways in case I had to bail off the unit. So the real estate was already full. The backup controller is brand new and never been taken out of the bag.

6. I have heard that, and frankly some people have offered to buy the ODA off me by itself. I can’t speak to Divesofts plans, but I think they are coming out with something new, but I think people prefer the ODA (I have a Nerd as well on my other unit and the ODA is very nice/better designed as far as visibility/mounting). So I’d say if you wanted, you could likely sell the ODA off at a premium. Currently I’d like to keep things together.

7. I have a pelican case I could throw in. It’s not the official Divesoft case. I didn’t purchase the case as like I said, Divesoft is here in town, and I was just driving the unit around to various cave sites. Just didn’t need another big pelican case laying around. It would be easy to ship the unit in the same way it was shipped from Europe.

8. Travis (the manager at Divesoft) is familiar with me and the unit and can vouch for both. I don’t foresee their being any issue with warranty. I’d dive the unit tomorrow with zero hesitations.

Hope that helps

Thanks for the answers !

Sorry a new question that popped out based on the picture

9- Why did you replace the original webbing for a Halcyon ?

Regards

On these pictures, no tanks are shown.

I've found your facebook marketplace ad in florida and it shows 4 tanks...

Could you clarify if 4 tanks are included please

I didn’t get the backplate that came with the rebreather from Divesoft. I have quite a few backplates and just used one that I already had with the rebreather. If you don’t need a backplate, I’ll keep the one pictured and knock off $150. Halcyon webbing, despite being pricey is nice for measuring and making everything line up (by counting the H’s).

One set of black 3L’s are included with the purchase. If you don’t need them, deduct $500. If you want another pair, I have another set to sell. Would include them for an additional $400 with rebreather purchase.

An exceptional thread, the best of diving to both of you and everyone else, thank you.
