Hiya!

I'm a relatively new diver (just 15 dives so far!) and just got my AOW cert last weekend.

I'm off to New Caledonia in a couple of weeks for a holiday with my Girlfriend and was hoping to do some diving while I'm there. I've done some searching around the Internet and have identified a few dive centers and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, stories, warnings or experiences of diving in New Caledonia and who to dive with?

I'll be staying in Noumea and might rent a car for a couple of days, but don't want to stray too far from the hotel.

The companies I found are:

Lagoon Safaris (www.lagoon-safaris.nc)
Alize (www.alizedive.com)
Abyss (www.abyssnc.com)

Has anyone dived with any of these groups before?

The pictures I've seen of NC look great and hope to be able to see some sharks, rays and whales!! :D

Paul
