Hi ! I am a new diver from New York City
Needless to say but I do not dive here.
I enjoy the warm water and and new to the board.
I welcome to meet new divers so come and welcome me

Glad to have you aboard. Don't rule out the cold water yet you said you were new. As the bug bites you might just find yourself looking to get in any water you can find. Heck some people around here actually have to cut holes in the water before they can dive.

Enjoy the board.

Welcome to the group.

Come on down to Florida and dive in the warm water.

Better be careful listening to me, I think that if the water is still liquid then it is warm enough. :D

Now why don't you dive in NY? 'cause I have friends that dive there. Or do you mean NYC?

Welcome from north of the 49th... come on up and dive!

Come on, it's not that cold up here. And diving off the Jersey/ NY coast is what it's all about. After you dive up here, all of that warm water stuff is just foo foo diving :D

Anyway, get yourself a drysuit and give diving up here a try. It will at least make you appreciate warm water diving even more,

Ty

I got quite a bit of sick enjoyment at Beneath the Sea this year.
Everytime the travel poeple tried to 'sell' me, I asked their
average water temperature. The shut up when I told 'em it was
30 degrees to warm!

Average dive temp: 46
Lowest: 36
Highest: [one trip to FL: 68]

p.s. I think I've already worked on establishing that I'm a freak!
:goofy:

welcome to the board eyes scuba, this is definetly the board to get an good and quick information on Scuba.

welcome to the boards

don't rule out cold water diving. I live in minnesota and, if I want to dive without a plane trip cold water has got to do.
