Hello Divers,

Rachael Miller here founder/director of the Rozalia Project for a Clean Ocean. I hope you have all had great summer full of adventures on and in the water. Our mission is to find and remove marine debris - we are sick of the trash and are picking it up one piece at a time.

Rozalia Project is moving ahead with all sorts of excitement mostly in the form of our new mothership: American Promise (Dodge Morgan's record-breaking circumnavigator and then the Naval Academy's training ship). We also have run our marine debris program to several hundred kids and adults - including a day on the Charles River (found all sorts of slimy trash to get out of there). And for this month, we got into the Pepsi Refresh Everything funding contest. And this is why I am writing... we need the help of people who love the water everywhere to spread the word and vote for us.

Your votes will help secure a vital grant to fund our work cleaning plastic and debris out of our waterways. We need the money and desperately need your votes to get it. If we get into the top 100 by the end of the month, we stay in the contest and have a chance at support from High School and College sailors, divers, surfers and more.

Please, please go to refresheverything.com/rozaliaproject and click on "Vote for this Project" or TEXT 101390 to 73774 (spells PEPSI). You can vote everyday.

Voting is easy. Just click the link! It literally takes less than a minute, it does not cost anything, and Pepsi will not fill your inbox with spam once you register. Please vote now, and if you can, once a day through August 31 (the next 14 days) when the contest ends and the grants are decided.

Please also pass this on to anyone/everyone you know (at work, school, fellow divers, friends, family, your children, their friends...) and ask them to vote too, if you would. We only have 14 more days to make this happen. I cannot tell you how grateful I am for your help.

The Rozalia Project, our oceans and I thank you!
