I'm thinking about spending a month this summer to get my divemaster (I'm a rescue diver). I've thought about going to Gili Islands (Indonesia) and Utila (Honduras).
I would really appreciate recommendations for dive shops in those areas as well as other locations!

Thanks a million

If u want to became a 'real' dive professional, than try to figure out where u want to stay for the next few years - and then, do your divemaster course at that place - You will find out that the chance to get a job is a lot better if u did the course at the diveshop.
Good Luck !!!

Although you may be able to get the number of logged dives & complete the academics to become a DM in a month, I advocate picking someplace closer to home where you can be properly mentored to become a DM.

DM is the first level of dive professional and requires more experience than a single month to achieve. People learn at their own place, but most people find that at the very least it takes several months. With others, it takes them a year or more to become a good DM.

Don't rush. Take the time to learn to be a proper DM.
