Raising children with disabilities and having a father who was a veteran with a disability was challenging, but it prepared Jim Elliott to leave a successful career in the media business to start a non profit in 2001 called Diveheart. Elliott refuses to draw a salary because he wants to set an example, not only for those in his organization, but for other non profit leaders…proving that putting passion above personal profit will inspire the world to support your mission and vision. He is doing just that at Diveheart. 2015 is halfway over and Diveheart is right on target with its goals of inspiring the world to grow adaptive scuba and scuba therapy so that children, adults and veterans with disabilities …can imagine the possibilities in their lives…enjoy the rest of 2015 and remember to Pay it Forward in some aspect of your life and you will be richer for it….
