Hi everyone!
recently bought 2 dive watches to go for diving with the head instead of just reading the computer. I'm diving a semi-dry scubapro novascotia 7.5mm which makes me unable to wrap my new watches around my suit even if my wrists are not that fat :wink:. I'm wondering who has good solution/trick for extending existing straps...
Thx guys!

Most manufacturers sell an extender strap and there may be after market ones too. Essentially, you end up with two buckles.
We like using a bungee for ours, but it had a conversion kit when we bought it, that makes it real easy to pull on/off.

Get another strap like the one on the watch, remove the buckle from the short end put the buckle on the long end (the end that would hole the spring bar to the watch) cut a notch in the middle for the buckle tang and boom you have an extension.

I will double rhwestfall here;

Zulu or Nato type straps can be found relatively affordable, they are usually long enough to wear with thick suits and often pretty sturdy, specially the ones made out of ballistic nylon or seatbelt material. Another advantage of those straps if one of your strap bars fails (unlike the two piece straps) they still keep the device on your wrist.

Nato straps. natostrapco.com Very affordable and they have one that is 17 inches in length which should be plenty.
