When you take a dive vacation do you find yourself visiting the same places year after year or do you consistently seek out new destinations?

Just curious.

My husband and I usually take two trips a year. Since we own a timeshare on Maui (and LOVE Maui), so far we've always gone there for one of the trips. The second trip, we're definitely making sure we go somewhere different each time. We've now decided liveaboards are the next best thing to sliced bread, so it's likely our next few years will see us on Maui and somewhere on a liveaboard for our 2 trips.

some of each. A few places I've only been once, others I've been back a number of times.

If we discuss much it my husband usually wants to go someplace we've been and I lean towards trying someplace new, probably because I do all the research into new places. But if I just pick someplace and stick it in front of him he's pretty much sure, when's the flight? (I tell him if we didn't go anyplace new, we wouldn't have much of a selection of old places.)

I like to do both if I can. On years that I can do 2 or 3 trips I mix them up. If I can only do one trip then I return to old faithful places that I know I am going to enjoy.
