Selling off more gear. Reason for selling-been out of work for a year.
THIS is the type of device you need to SOLO Dive at Dutch Springs.
This simple device includes an underwater beacon (transmitter) and a handheld receiver. Simply attach the transmitter to your dive boat (from an anchor line or buoy) or other destination. The receiver is carried by the diver. A series of lights indicates relative signal strength when the receiver is pointed toward the transmitter. All you do is locate the direction of the transmitter with the receiver and swim toward it. The Dive Trak has a multitude of other uses as well. It can even help find a wayward dive buddy. Since the system operates via sonar, water clarity isn't a factor.
This Dive-Trak is in very good working condition. It is complete and includes both the transmitter and the tracker as well as the carrying bag. Each unit is powered by its own user replaceable, nine volt alkaline or lithium battery (included). It has an operating depth rating of 600 feet, and a range in normal conditions of about 750 ft. between transmitter and receiver. The transmitter and receiver have rugged polycarbonate cases and each is only 6.75 by 2 inches, with slight positive buoyancy. This allows them to conveniently fit in a BC pocket or clipped to an o-ring. The Dive-Trak was originally priced at $499. I am selling this one for $325 includes s&h CONUS.
Any questions, PM me.
