Dive suit suggestion

Looking at my first dive suit. i'll be diving here in the midwest most often, warm water maybe once a yr. What does anything about the sharkskin??
a guy at local dive shop recommend it, and said i could layer it. Any thoughts??

What temps you diving and duration?

I bought the Sharkin pants and wore them in Coz in 78* water....they were great. I won't dive colder and I didn't wear them as an undergarment. I like them much more than neoprene.
