Just wanted to follow up on my trip this past weekend to Haigh Quarry.

First and foremost, Dan was an excellent dive guide. He helped answer some questions my girlfriend and I had about equipment and was invaluable in helping her get comfortable in the water (she had issues with her mask, which always makes her very nervous.)

The quarry was very murky, but we enjoyed the dive nonetheless. Just getting in the water and going through the motions is pretty fun at this stage of our diving lives, so any opportunity is welcomed.

The dive shop was great. Very friendly staff, surprisingly great parking, and very good equipment. We'll definitely be returning, though we might try to go earlier in the year to beat the algae bloom.

Thanks again, Dan, and we'll definitely be seeing you again soon.
One more question: what was the name of that mine near St. Louis you were telling us about? Thanks!
