Dive shop in Punta Cana

My wife and i are planning a trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. Can you guys recommend a good dive shop to book a couple of dives with? They need to carry good rental equipment as I won't take all of my gear

Also, can you recommend any good dive sites in the area?

My wife and i did our OW with Peilcano Sport. Overall I was happy with them, although the diving in Punta Cana is so-so...

Great experience with VIP Divers in Punta Cana. The ocean diving there isn't too great though. You'll probably head out to Catalina for good diving.

The diving in Punta Cana is really bad. If you haven't booked anything yet, I would look at booking something in the Bayahibe area. It has the best diving on the island. 2 of the top dive op's are SCUBAFUN PADI Dive Center - Bayahibe, Dominican Republic and About us - The best Scuba Diving in Dominican Republic I dove with Johns shop Scuba Fun and can highly recommend them.
