I'm recently certified as well. I don't have alot of experience with BC's but I tried 3 different ones and went with the TPII. I'm very happy with it.

What about the Scuba Pro S tek.
Does anyone thinks that it is more
comfortable than the transpac II harness?

The Scubapro S-Tek is the older version of DiveRite transpac. Scubapro was in the market for a technical BC. They bought a technical BC manufacturer run by Lamartek(the predecessor of Dive Rite). Lamartek opened his new company DiveRite, but he could not called his new and improved BC the transpac because Scubapro owned it. This is why Dive Rite called its new BC the transpac II. In short the S-tek is the older version of the transpac II and is not as comfortable. Take care. Hope I was helpful.
