I am selling my Dive Rite Transpac (size M/L) because I went to a plate. Its in excellent condition...no fading or worn areas. I bought it last year and used it probably 30 dives. It's been fresh water rinsed after each dive and stored inside. Comes with a 1" crotch strap.

$175 O.B.O. (+shipping)

It does not come with cam bands; just weight pockets. The shoulder portion is Medium and the waist band is L/XL according to the tags on the harness.

$125 (plus shipping) is my bottom price....any takers for a DR Transpac in excellent shape?

I have an OMS wing and SS plate. Do you know if the Transpac is compatible?

No.. not compatible. You might be able to "rig" it somehow, but it won't line up and strap through by default.

For using a SS plate and wing, Dive Rite makes several harnesses specifically for it. If you want a harness like the Transpack, they make one called the Transplate.

see SCUBA Diving Equipment for Technical, Sidemount, Rebreather, Wreck and Cave Diving: Dive Rite, Inc - Product Catalog - TransPlate Harness

Thanks Mike, I was hoping it was like the OMS IQ harness which will receive a backplate. I like the backpack look but would like the rigidity of the plate as well.

I'm betting you could make it work. I'm sure someone has before. but if you look at the original poster's "back shot" pictures of the tranpac, you'll see the harness attaches to the back pad differently than it does with the Transplate.

Here's some good reference. Hope the original seller of the Transpac doesn't mind the change in direction. (It bumps his thread for more notice, so should help him). If not, we can get the posts deleted or moved to another thread if he wishes...

How to assemble a Transplate: (Shoulders and Waist videos)

There's not really a Transpac assembly video since it comes as a complete harness. but you can see some details on it in the Owners Guide here http://www.diverite.com/downloads/diverite_190.pdf
