I went yesterday, to the rec center pool and dove with the newly fitted Dive-Rite BC. With the crotch-strap and tighter cummerbund, it fits a LOT nicer and performs much better. It's not sloppy and the tank doesn't slide all over the place. I'm very pleased with it. The tank still wants to ride up a bit, so I've tightened up the yoke strap a little more to keep it from bopping me in the back of the head.

There's still a bit of a learning curve, as with any new piece of gear, but all in all, it's worth the time and effort.

Yesterday, at the pool, I'm shrugging into my BC to try it out. A young female lifeguard comes over and begins talking to me. Nice looking woman, too... She was one of the dive masters in my Open Water course.

We're talking about diving and my upcoming trip to Cozumel, and while we're doing this, I'm adjusting and tightening the crotch-strap of my BC, reaching up under my butt and messing around with the buckle at my crotch, adjusting everything... She seemed to take no notice. I finally blushed and said, "I'm sorry... This must look really obscene.."

She laughed, and I finished up as quickly as I could and did my giant stride into the water.

Sheesh... :klo: :icorolley :shiner1: :confused4 :new_puppy
