WooHoo,,POOL'S BACK OPEN and Viz is back !!! I dove today right in between WPB & JUP in 95ft, then 85ft and lastly 80ft deep. When I was at 30' dropping down I could see the reef below at 95ft!! Horizontal viz on bottom is still 50' easy. Only 1knt current on bottom, top current was double that. Toasty warm with no thermals at 80 degrees.
My team mates 1st dive was on the deep ledge Jupiter Hole-in-the-Wall site. They found 20+ Goliath Groupers in front of it for the spawn. Heard on the marine radio that several of the wrecks had Goliaths on them also.
I found Bugs & lions everywhere since no one has been on the reefs. Since all of us have been blown out most of this September month, the dive boats are going to be full this weekend so call your favorite dive boat quick!!
