It's definitely a current-dependent spot (especially out past the tip of the point). The problem is, there isn't a current reference for that area. It's usually a few hours off here compared to the Race Passage table. I went in right at the middle of a long 4-hour slack according to the Race Passage table. Also, to get deep enough on the pipe (60' +) requires a decent amount of air. I have a 119 cuft and I have to turn around at 75-80'.
