I heard there are dive packages that you can buy and use at different shops. We are staying at STT one week and St. John another. Also any recomendations on shops would helpful.

I'm not aware of any multi-shop passes for the island.
Who you dive with will likely depend on where you're staying. For St. Thomas I have to promote my own shop because I believe we're top tier on the island and for St. John, I'd go with Low Key Watersports.

I know Admiralty Dive on St. Thomas is now offering ALL INCLUSIVE packages and they can help you book your diving on St. John too, making your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible!.
