Hi Argos Ive been diving down there a bunch. I'm not familiar with Dive City USA. I can tell you that rainbow reef runs a safe and fun operation and they have two stores, both with boats, within 10 min of you. Tell them Jordan King sent you!! I'm not associated with them except for having dove / taken classes with them but at least you can drop a familiar name and at least have someone to drink beers with at night!! Good luck and have some great diving!!!!

Take the 5 minute drive north to Tavernier and dive with www.conchrepublicdivers.com

They are in my top 5 of best ops in all the places I've been too...

I dove with Diver City a few weeks ago and they were very good. Also dove with Conch Republic the week before, another good operation.

Don't think you will go wrong with either one, Diver City appears to be a smaller operation (one boat I believe)than Conch. Both had well maintained boat and equipment and very knowlegable staff.

Diver City captain from Oregon or Washington originally and talks both warm and cold water diving. Conch has two captains and 2 boats I believe.

Key Dives in Islamorada is great. their rates are about the same as everyone however...They give you first class treatment. They carry your gear to the boat, break it down and rinse it after the dive and store it if you're diving more than one day. You can even take your BCD and tank off and hand it up before climbing back into the boat. Their rate includes not only tanks, belts and weights, but mask, snorkel (if you need it) and even a wetsuit if you don't have one, or if you're cold and need more protection. Most shops have a seperate wetsuit rental charge.Their shop (and boat) is right on the highway, before the bridge over to Marathon.
