When I first got my Perdix AI I didn't set the next dive number to correspond to my logs. After 4 dives, I realized that I wanted to do this and did. When I uploaded my dives to my mobile device, the dives correspond to my logs except for the first four. I went into the dive log on my Perdix and edited the dive number, but upon reloading the dives into my smartphone, they still read 1,2,3,4,nnnn,nnnn etc.
I read in a thread somewhere something about what was happening, but my question is will there be a software fix to maintain consistency between what's on my laptop and what's on my phone and start my dive numbers somewhere other than 1. (The laptop coincides with my logbooks, i.e. not starting at dive #1)

Nope. On my Shearwater desktop app they are ok. Not so with anything to do with the cloud, mobile or desktop.

Yup, same here, the thing is, the old desktop app is very different from the cloud version

There are things I like about the Cloud Desktop, but if they can't make it work at least somewhat like the regular desktop app, I can find other cloud apps that work. HOWEVER, I don't like the cloud - period.
