I like Dive Training best. It has some stuff on training and dive safety, though much of it is pretty rudimentary. Some of the other ones have a fair bit on new equipment, but I try not to spend more than I have to. Safety of equipment is of utmost importance, but so is the safety of your car and you only spend a certain amount on that and other things. Others concentrate on dive destinations--something of little interest to me as none of them permit shell collecting. At any rate, equipment and destinations can also be found on the internet. PADI's Undersea Journal has some interesting stuff on long time instructors, honoured and retiring ones, etc. But it has little info. directly for DMs. Promoting PADI and ideas for your dive shop's success are good things, but again, not directly relevant for me. In all the magazines I would like to see more on situations that instructors, DMs and OW divers have encounterd regarding safety and what their responses were. Guess that's where SB comes in.

I like Dive Training best.
At my experience level, I find it excellent. It's good to see a much more experienced diver reading it too.

If you become a DAN member, you will receive Alert Diver which has become an excellent mag. I like the indepth safety and tech articles

Yes. Sorry, I forgot that one. Only have seen a couple of issues but quite good.

Plus one for Alert Diver. But don't overlook an on-line magazine called UNDERCURRENT. undercurrent.org. They do not take ads, and so are truly objective. Their stories are insightful and their annual book of diver comments on various dive destinations, dive shops and liveaboards is great. Check out their website and consider subscribing.

I like and use Scuba Diving Magazine. What I like best about it is it is in the Kindle Store, so I can download it unto my iPad (via Kindle App) and read anywhere and everywhere. Lots of good info, travel reviews, safety stories and really good pictures! All for a meager $1.99 per month. You need to own a Kindle device (such as Kindle Fire, iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, etc), but I'm confident they have a print version as well.

I have only seen a couple of issues, but the current one has an article that managed to get some basic facts wrong on the local quarry - location and depth. Minor, but it causes me to question their fact checking.
