I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this topic. I couldn't find an education or commercial diving section.

I am very interested in making the transition to making my living underwater. In the Navy I my expertise was Fuel Systems, tanks, valves, pump, filters, you name it. Pairing that with my love for the water (and being part fish) I have been looking at a career shift into Commercial diving.

I have read about the Dive Institute of Seattle and they seem to really have a solid program and being that I am a Seattle native, the location works for me as well. I live in Japan now, and have little desire to move back to the Mainland US ever but if I do go back, it will be to get more dive training.

I will also plan to be Master Diver Certified before I go to school.

Has anyone been? Had any dealings with or know anyone who has? I would also really like to talk to anyone in the business already.

Thanks everyone!
Scott
