Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy my first GoPro camera. It will be the 3+ black edition. Since the LCD bacpac and flip3.1 (or standard gopro filters) nowadays all fit the smaller 3+ casing I am wondering what the added advantage of the dive housing is. I don't dive deeper then 30meters and usually hang around 10-20meters.

-GoPro 3+ Black Edition
-GoPro LCD bacpac
-Filters flip 3.1/Gopro (red and magento)
-Browsing for a nice tray now

Can anyone tell me what the actual benefit of the dive housing is for the 3+?

I did take a gopro 3+ on a dive in original housing. never had a problem. So if only waterproofness is the difference I do not see the reason to spend the money.

Gopro clip on filters vs backscatter flip?
