Hello! I’m currently in the Cancun and Playa del Carmen area for diving, but I’ve noticed that many local dive shops only rent gear and don’t sell it. I’m looking to buy a rash guard, wetsuit，mask defog, a regulator, and some gloves, but I haven’t been able to find a retail dive gear shop that sells them. Do you have any recommendations? I’m looking for something like Dive Direct in Florida.

i think most peoples recommendations would be to avoid buying on vacation. being from florida, you would have a variety of good options to choose from.
but if you are already in mexico and are set on buying, you might be able to find gear at the reef dive shop on 28th st. i am pretty sure the last time i was there they had gear for sale.

Depending on what you're looking for Zero Gravity at Puerto Aventuras has a good selection.

Tusa on highway in PDC close to Honda. Medive on 10th in PDC. Scubasupply on highway near Playacar.
the protec locations might be an option as well
There is a small Dive Rite shop in PDC. It's not like the large retailer you want and probably more expensive. Call them. It's been awhile since I've been to their shop so I can't say what they have in stock. Worth a look maybe.
