Anyone know a good and diver friendly Doctor in Manhattan? I am looking for a new GP and would prefer them to understand diving issues. I may need a few options to find one that takes my insurance. Many thanks. d

I was able to get the names of 2 GP/FPs who are "dive friendly" in Southern California by calling DAN. I think they may give the information whether or not you are a DAN member, but I am not positive...

Yes, DAN will provide such referral, if they have one, free of charge to nonmembers. Their referral source roster is pretty thin in many locations, although there should be a fair number in NYC.

Thanks for all the advice. Saph, you have to understand that "Manhattan" is a small island in New York. We do love our cousins in the Cali-Manhattan beach area, but I must say that we had the name first! ;-)
