Hi All,

For the last dozen times I've dived all around the sinai from various places (from the UK) and, although I still love it, would really like to try somewhere else for august this year.

Two weeks away would be ideal but it seems the weather over in Asia may not be the best. Is it likely to be that throughout the region or are there certain areas you can still go to without utter rubbish viz and monsoon weather?!

It doesn't have to be Asia but I'd imagine that's the best place to visit for cost/underwater variety.

Also, my girlfriend would like to start diving too so any good dive centres in the areas that get recommended would be much appreciated.

Thanks!!

James.

Malaysia, 1 week on the peninsula 1 week Sipadan or Miri.
Very civilised country, easy to travel around, friendly people.

Cool, thanks all!

Think I've decided on Thailand, but East coast as the monsoon season's hitting the west round about that time :( Was looking at Koh Tao so if anyone's got good suggestions for diving round that area I'm all ears :):):)

Cheers,

James.
