This is quite disturbing footage. If you have a weak stomach best not to view. It shows a Minke whale in a prolonged struggle to survive.

Additionally, a letter sent to Gortons of Gloucester could make a difference. Boycotting product would send a message to the Japanese owners that this type of harvest is not condoned in the United States.

Here's a link to the Humane Society and a form to send to Nissui.

Many thanks. Mr. X

i watched several of the videos on there, it really sucks those whales dont have a chance in hell, with all of our modern tech stuff they are doomed , so sad, i am sure we have othere ways to come up with the resorces we need that they get from the whales, instead of killing those magnificent creatures, thanks for posting this

OMG- that was soooo sad. Poor thing. Too bad you can't harpoon the people on the ships and let them bleed out in the ocean.

Thanks for posting the link, I hope it does not get pulled out too quickly...

tkring:
I couldn't watch it Please forgive my ignorance but can you explain why we still hunt whales?

one of our members from Norway explained that they 'taste good'...

I sent both e-mails as soon as I saw them. Imagine Gordon's Whalesticks? I'm sure all these fine parents would love to see that and know their kids are eating fishsticks from a Quality company.
