Hi folks,

Here is a picture of a DIRf graduate still going strong 3 to 4 months after the class.

Doc Intrepid:
That dude has been hovering for 3 or 4 months? Great SAC! :D

Now you see why we seldom need the use of RB's :bogey:

DS1:
Nice !!

Who is the diver
I will have to ask if he wants his name posted. I will be seeing some of his friends this morning, so we will take it from there. I hope some of you are diving today.

artw:
hey James/Tom, that picture made me wonder, what is DIR-F's stance on stage bottles? ie al40's or 80's rigged as per GUE's equipment requirements?

First things first dude,

Trim and buoyancy control have to be well developed before you open the door to increased task loading. You should ask your questions of Dan as he is an instructor. Tom and I are just divers. We are happy to help where we can, but that is all we can offer you.

As Tom has said there are no stages on a dirf. This diver is cultivating he task management skills close to shore in the presence and with the support of some of our more experienced team members. Stages are not used on the tech1 course either.

No Stages on trimix dives to 150ft?

That sounds strange to me. When does GUE start using stages and decompression gas then?
