The other day I was at my LDS looking to finance some classes and new gear. After going through all of the paperwork, I was informed that I had been declined. So I call up the finance company to find out that the shop manager had accidentally put my year of birth as 1919. After explaining to me what had happened, the finance rep actually said, "the system considered your age to be an unnecessary risk and it's highly likely that yer gonna die before the term is up"

Guess I should have expected that from a GUE affiliated shop.:D

Totally made my morning though.
