Hi!

I want to be able to do some macro shooting with my UW video setup (Ikelite housing + JVC DV3000), and I think diopters (inside housing) maybe is the way to go for my (because of the price). So my quistions are:

What strength of diopter do you need to get some nice shots of little critters?

What brand would you choose? HOYA is quite cheap and they come in a small set with +1, +2, +4 diopters. Canon diopters are maybe better quality, but also cost more.

What would you recommend when you are on a budget?

thanks!

- or would I be better of with a tele converter lens (if I can find one that fits inside my housing)??

In that case what size should I get for good macro capability?? Would 1.4x get me anywhere?
