Hello All

i have recently bought my first strobe it is a YS 110 S&S that i will be using with a G9 in a Canon housing my question is why use the diffuser and what does it accomplish I know this sounds basic but I am new to this thanks for all your help

I added diffusers to my 2 strobes about one year ago. The benefits I see are reduced backscatter and better control of my lighting subjects. Softer lighting rather than the bright white light.

I shoot with Inon strobes and in my opinion, diffusers are well worth the purchase.
