hey all,

I have a sp350 made in malaysia i bought in indonesia. and i just bought2ndhand from ebay (which is still in excellent condition) made from China. Does it matter where it was made from? they both look the same and function the same. thx in advance

Over the ten years that I've been buying Olympus digital cameras, I've always assumed that the "Made in" part meant Assembled. That key components—circuit board in particular—were made in Japan and shipped their for assembly.
