Hi Scott,

I'm in the middle of doing some reg servicing this winter, and my old DSIV's "soft" faceplate has seen better days. It got me wondering if you guys have ever done or considered doing a run of various coloured faceplates for the ZX/Envoy series regs?

Thanks,
Jim

I have 2 black ones on my Flathead VI's, a grey one on my DSV, and the old softer one on my DSIV. I use the DSV and DSIV as stage/deco regs, and thought it would be cool to get an O2 green faceplate or bright blue, or something different like that.

The short answer is, yes...we have talked about it. However, it really isn't cost effective to make different colors unless they are being sold as production models.

Back in the 90's, we we had Apeks, there were all sorts of colored faceplates....and I think we finally ended up throwing them away a few years ago because they didn't really sell.

Thanks,

Scott

Thanks for the clarification Scott. If you guys ever happen to try a short test run of different colours...let me know! :eyebrow:
