Difference between Type I and Type II Inon?

I know the answer to my question but I have momentarily forgotten the answer and Inon America no longer has their answer page to remind me of what I already know.

What exactly is the difference between a Type I 100 WAL and a Type II 100 WAL wet mount lens with 67 mm threads?

The Type II screws directly into a 67mm threaded port and the Type I is used on different sized ports where an adaptor ring is needed.
