yeah, well I do workout, I swim and jog. but my metabolism kinda sucks, it's like I stay the same no matter what. I don't really "watch" what I eat, mainly because I eat well, I don't like junk food and no sugar or salt at all. <snip>...are they really caffeine pills? it doesn't seem like it, I think it's more of an appetite suppressor.
If your "workouts" consist solely of "jogging" and swimming, then I have a few other ideas for you to consider prior to taking overhyped EXPENSIVE supplements.
One of the keys in weightloss and working out is indeed your metabolism. One of the ways to crank-up your metabolism is to increase your muscle mass. Muscle maintenance requires more energy at rest. I'd start throwing some weights into your workout.
Second, if you are just leisurely jogging or swimming, you will not crank-up your metabolism either. The key here is high intensity intervals.
Third, you mention that you don't watch what you eat but you "eat well". I'd say that if you actually track what you eat and WHEN you eat, another pattern or two will emerge.
Lastly, you don't really understand what it is the pills do...not good, I won't take any supplement unless I understand exactly what it is going to do.
So...suggestions. I'd recommend instead of spending the money on the pills, spend the money on a three month gym membership and a few sessions with a personal trainer to get you going. Alternately, most of the big fitness magazines offer "three month" tune-up or transformation workouts complete with meal plans and workouts all completely layed-out for you. (Couple suggestions are Muscle and Fitness...go online to see their current three month program, Muscle Media also has a good one based on the book "Body for Life".)
I think that dedicating three months or 12 weeks to firing up your metabolism with food and workouts will completely change your mind about using a supplement pill.
Go for it! There are some awesome results waiting for you
