Tank is Steel 100 with yoke.

I noticed my tank pressure was always lower on dive day than when I left the fill shop. Could be temperature as the adiabatic heat of filling falls, but I had to be sure I didn't have a leak somewhere.

So I filled the tub and placed my tank (no regulator attached) in it to see if any bubbles formed. No bubbles, good sign. I take out the tank, open the valve for good measure, and from the valve some water is spat out. Now I realize that water was in the exposed part of the valve, and by opening the valve with the tank in the upright position I'm sure a bit of water just fell straight down into the tank.

Anything to worry about?

Towel over the valve and open it up a few times to blow out any residual h20 from the orifice.

And then check your oring.
