I bought this: DGX All-Mesh Lift Bag Sleeve | Dive Gear Express®

I planned to hang it at the bottom of my backplate. But, the velcro mouth is very secure, and I worry I can't open it one handed. It feels like it would take two hands to open, like a zip-lock baggie. What if I pull on one lip, and the other lip flexes with it, rather than pulling away? I tried opening it one handed, and it didn't go too well.

Am I crazy? Is there something I'm missing?

I have a portion of the bag (piece of the rigging strap) sticking out, pinched in the Velcro. Gives me something to grab and pull to get the bag out of the pocket.

YMMV

That's an awesome idea!!

I made more use of the space with an OTG thigh sack and put it sideways
Took off the straps put a couple of grommets and a 2ft string leash with half a dozen clips inside
