Hi Aqua Lung

I had a friend ask me a question today that I couldn't answer. He has an older PPS transmitter from a computer that is long gone. The embedded serial number is illegible due to wear and tear. Is there a way he can figure out the serial number so that he can use the transmitter?

Thanks very much for any information.

Mine have it etched on the body as well as being on the sticker.

Thanks, the etched number has been worn off, the label is long gone.

I have my transmitter serial numbers recorded on my scuba equipment spreadsheet, unfortunately, my friend did not do that.

they can try to contact PPS to send it in
Thanks, I'm hoping Aqua Lung, owners of PPS, will answer in the thread. I will email Huish service to see what they have to say. It was originally from an Oceanic VT4 computer.

I will also email Aqua Lung to see if I can get an answer.

i haven't seen a reply from an AL rep on this forum in years, I don't think they monitor it.
