Consists of a transmitter and receiver. User replaceable batteries in both units. Desert Star Systems has a manufacturers site on Scuba Board where details of thiis system can be found, "Twisted Grey" is the user name of the mfrs. rep. I am asking $325 for this unit which works good and comes with the original owners manual. Price new is $549. This system works great for telling you the direction and how far away your boat is (or your anchored transmitter) up to 3/4 mile range. Can save you many un neccessary ascents and some anxiety when you are having trouble locating your boat or entry point. Also willing to consider a trade for hoseless dive computer with negotiable price difference, eg. I am willing to add cash to the deal if price dictates.
