Delta & continental adding more flights to bonaire yipee!!!

Hi All!

Just got this email from Tourism Board of Bonaire:

Below, please find the details of a significant seasonal uplift from our airline partners, Continental and Delta.



1. Effective February 12, 2010 until April 2, 2010, Continental will run a second Newark flight on Saturdays.

The schedule will be as follows:

COA 1553/1556 EWR-BON-EWR SAT. ARR BON 05:22 AM DEP BON 07:00 AM



2. Continental will also operate a third Houston (IAH) flight on Mondays effective March 7, 2010 until March 29, 2010.

The schedule will be as follows:

COA1898/1899 IAH-BON-IAH MON. ARR BON 06:00 AM DEP BON 08:30 AM



3. Effective February 13 – August 14, Delta will upgage the 757 normally operated on the Bonaire route with 183 seats to a 767 with 262 seats.

Omg...just realized houston on mondays...now people can stay on bonaire longer...from friday/sat or sat/sun to the following monday...yipee!

Yes but this will screw up some room rentals, since ppl arriving Sunday won't be able to get their room until Mr. HappyPants leaves on Monday now...

What Bonaire deserves is legitimate 7 day a week service, same as AA gives Curacao...

It's good news - one just wishes they'd bless us Northeners with GREAT news and give us one bit more palatable Newark departure time
I'll take this over reduced flights though, wish it stretched a little longer though.
