Hey Guys
I am considering purchasing a Salvo Can. Light. Should I be concerned about the lighthead being made from delrin rather than metal? HID's put out some decent heat and I am wondering if this is an issue. Other than this question, the Salvo line looks great. Any comments are appreciated.

Delrin is a very strong industrial plastic. It is mainly used for dimensional parts, gears, and stuff like that. It will never corrode or react to anything you would find.

On the flip side it does not conduct heat like metals do. It wont melt, but it will raise the internal operating temperature of the light. I'm sure Salvo has taken account for this.
