I see on their website that pier construction was started and was projected to be complete about now. Does anyone know the current status of the pier? Any recent experience at their house reef, Lighthouse Point?

We dove both Chez Hines and Punt Vierkant in February, and may have wandered into Lighthouse point. The diving on that part of the island is good, at least in part because those sites have been relatively hard to get to from shore. The reputation of Lighthouse Point is that it is subject to more surge than many others, which is consistent with what we observed during a few nights at Delphin's--beginners were getting knocked around a bit. Especially for the north shore, access from the resort is actually quite easy, apart from wave action--the sand area just left of center in the picture is a nice gradual slope into the water, with no real surprises. Delphins is a nice property, and for boat divers the addition of the dock will be great (there already is a Dive Friends operation there).
