Default Search Order (relevant Versus Recent)

i noticed the default search order is set to "relevant" when using the quick search. is it possible to change it to "recent?" i looked in my profile settings and didn't see a way to change it without having to go into advanced search?

it makes searching the classifieds difficult. when i do a quick search for an item and all the top hits are from 2009 or earlier, it's not really relevant.

Do an advanced search. This will provide the results you desire. Relevancy is the preferred option board wide. Xenforo does not make this option user changeable. You can voice your opinion to them if you'd like at xenforo.com
