Guys and Gals,

Having read thru and answered many of your
questions on RGBM algorithmx, tables, meters, and
software (see my 2 earlier posts on RGBM questions),
you might be interested in the Deep Stops And
Modern Deco Strategies Wkshp being held in Tampa
on February 23 and 24, 2003 (sponsored by NAUI Tec
Operations). We have 10 -12 experts on the slate
to talk, and will conclude with a panel on Sunday,
February 24.

I will update on the RGBM (algorithm, tables, meters
software), and give statistics on RGBM testing and
usage (validating all RGBM). Data on Doppler and
imaging associated with modern deco theory will also
be presented. Deep and deco diving will also be
presented, with correlations with modern phase models.
And other stuff too. Extensive deco diving experience
and knowledge are in abundance here

Mike Gernhardt, NASA Astronaut and Commercial Diver,
is on the docket

Mike Powell (Dr Deco), NASA also, is another speaker.

JOIN US. Contact NAUI Hdqts in Tampa for registration,
reservations, schedules, speakers, etc.

Alot of us here use Vplan tables based on the VPM model. Will there be anyone there discussing these tables and how their deep stops are calculated?
Thanks
Ken

Focus of the Deep Stops And Modern Deco Strategies
Wkshp is real and recorded data, validated tables and models,
related experiments, etc. Computer software and freeware
should be a topic for another Wkshp -- for users mainly.
But I know NAUI isn't interested in such, nor is UHMS, DAN,
etc. Their concern is anecdotal data.

VPM may come up in discussions. Who knows. Most
at this Wkshp probably regard lab gel bubbles (VPM)
as not a good model for lipid and aqueous body
bubbles.

Regards and good diving,
