Tim Mitchell was a Catalina dive instructor who worked for SCUBA Luv. He was also a musician, fireman and harbor patrolman. In his capacity as a harbor patrolman he tried to save SCUBA Luv's King Neptune dive boat in a major storm three years ago and lost his life when the boat slammed into the seawall.

The City's Harbor Dept created a memorial plaque for Tim and it was dedicated on December 30th.

Kudos! Why did it take three years?!

Thank you, Dr. Bill.

Wife and I did our Rescue course with Tim and Scuba Luv. He was a dedicated and detailed instructor, I will be sure to visit the plaque the next time I am on Catalina.
