Interested in getting a deco planning program to keep on my laptop. Any suggestions for something basic, user friendly and intuitive?

V-Planner is great, but I also like Palm VPM and DPlan on a Palm. The palm fits in a small waterproof case and even if it gets dropped overboard it will not set you back much cash to replace.

Dplan in particular is easy and intuitive to use.

I've used many, and prefer V-Planner to them all. I also keep a backup on my palm though... just in case.

Yep, V-Planner with VPM-BE option on. I've done a number 50m dives on that and it's fullproof for me.

v planner is great but hlplanner is free and good enough for most sport dives
