After working on the boat last week to get it running enough for local diving we headed to Hermosa Beach Artificial Reef to visit the Giant Sea Bass. Visibility was OK at 20-25 feet but the fish weren't cooperating today. We saw eight individuals but only two at a time would come down to the Rodeo Bar. Even then, they would only stay long enough for a photo or two.
