I just returned from diving around the Visaya Islands in the Philippines. I'm thinking of planning to go back next year but wanted to see what people recommend for a late-dec early-jan dive vacation. The monsoons were sticking around the Phils so that was a bit of a bummer.
I do like my beach time as well. Prefer to see schools, sharks, sea horses and I would consider a liveaboard again. Would like 2-weeks and to keep budget $2-3k with airfare. Kinda over all the coral reefs, I like seeing stuff swimming about. Oh yeah, not anywhere I need more than a 5 mil suit.
