I have a DC 1200. I want to get a strobe for it. However, can you use another brand of strobe with a fiber optic cable outside of Sealife brand on this camera. Reason I am asking is because on the Sealife 961 it comes with this circular piece that goes around the lens which holds the fiber optic cable in place. I can't seem to find this where you can buy this piece separately. Anyone ever run into this problem or know of any ways around it?

Find a SeaLife dealer. I think they come in a bag as replacements. I'm pretty sure I saw them at my LDS that is a SL dealer. RonFrank he's talking about the ring that hold sthe Fiber optic cable in place over the flash so the light can be transmitted to the strobes "trigger".
